Book 3, and Carl has stopped running and started building.

The whole Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook cover, worked in crochet: the title in siren red stacked five lines deep, the teal still rig bottom left, the hazard-yellow blast running out to the right with the small figures caught in it, and MATT DINNIMAN across the foot. 201 stitches wide, 301 rows tall, and every one of them written out for you.

START WITH THIS ONE

Four colors sounds like the hardest of the three. It is actually the easiest, and the numbers say so:

  • 227 of the 301 rows are worked in a single yarn, edge to edge
  • 65 rows hold three yarns, 9 hold two
  • The yellow lives only in rows 102–175. The teal only in rows 108–172.

So you work three quarters of this blanket as plain two-color work. Then there is one band through the middle, 74 rows deep, where you work the accent colors. Book 2 changes color in 179 rows; this one only does it in 74!
