Every party needs someone who gets in first and leaves with more than they came with. The Rogue is a two-colour heirloom blanket worked in overlay mosaic crochet, drawn as a tarot card for gamers and shown here in black and cream.

A hooded rogue stands on a plinth with feet planted wide, a mask drawn over nose and mouth so that only the eyes show. One hand is raised with a dagger held point-up; the other is held out to the side, dangling a round coin pouch by its cord. A cloak swings out behind, over a belted tunic with a strap across the chest and tall boots. Behind the figure the dungeon wall runs in long straight courses from edge to edge. A large key hangs in the air beside the dagger, and three hearts of health hang on the other side. The card is framed with a double border, six stars and the numeral III across the top, and the name on a banner at the foot.
