A Valentine for people who would rather be handed a rose by a skeleton. The Offering is a two-colour heirloom blanket worked in overlay mosaic crochet, shown here in deep red and cream: one skeleton holding out a rose, and the other reaching to take it.

Two skeletons face each other. The one on the left holds a single rose up between them, and the one on the right stretches out an open hand to take it. A heart hangs above them, and a tall leafy plant grows at each one's feet. The name THE OFFERING runs across a banner at the bottom, inside a plain border.
